Toddler Dress in progress!

Hello and good Wednesday to ya'll!

I'm so excited to be posting this blog because I wanted to share the next project that I'm working on for my lil ladybugs' birthday coming up!  I decided to make her a dress and a matching infinity scarf.  I don't have a pic of the scarf yet but I do have some pics of my babygirls dress in progress:->

I must stress that neither of this patterns are my own but I did find them for FREE on one of the blogs that I follow and on Ravelry.  Once I find the link to the blog I'll be sure to update this blog here so you can click on the link and check out that site.

Both patterns are proving to be extremely easy to follow so a beginner can definitely do well with these projects.  I know this because I, not too long ago, tried to follow another crochet dress pattern that the instructions were extremely vague and difficult to follow, and ended up quiting the project because the instructions were that silly.  BUT  this different pattern that I'm working with now is AWESOME.

Well now that the pics are posted I must sign off here and continue on
my day so Be Blessed & Be Inspired!

UPDATE!!!! Here is the link to the Ravelry site where I found this pattern:->

What A Wonderful Cloudy Day!

Hey readers how are you doing today?  Today so far has been a great day because the kids and I were able to catch up on some very much needed rest and I was able to catch up on two projects that I had to put on the side for a while.  The two projects that I want to share with you today is the pictures of the knitted pannel that I'm doing for my son and a cute baby gown that I just finished up.

Now when it comes to the afghan that's being knitted I still have 5 other panels to get to before they are all complete and then I need to connect the panels together.  From there I will block the blanket and let it dry, it'll be ready for Bubba.  I'm using the afghan pattern from this wonderful book called " 99 Knit Stitches" that I got from Joannes for a little over $8.  It's originally priced at about $11.99 but I guess the cashier and the manager have been seeing mom and I shop there A LOT because she gave us both a discount that day:->  Praise God!  Thank you Joannes!!!

Now when it comes to my crocheting projects I just about finished this cute baby gown but I still need to weave in some strings that aren't visible in this picture.  I found this cute pattern on Ravelry.com and it is FREE so that's an awesome bonus:->  The pattern also includes the bloomer and flower pattern so you can have a cute little set.  Well I have some work to do, still have  to fold  a TON of clothes and I have to put baby girl to sleep in bed because she just fell asleep in her high chair while having her lunch.  Lol and she said that she wasn't tired!

Well Be Blessed & Be inspired!

New Project At Hand!

Hello my dears!  I thought I'd share another project hat I'm working on right now for my baby loves.  After crocheting a baby dress I really wanted to try to crochet a cute dress similar for my girls and so far it's looking good.  I don't want to make both of the dresses exactly the same but they will be similar:)

I found several differnt patterns online and studied how they calculated the number of chains used to making different sizes but I did try to switch things up with the stitches and what not.  ONE day soon I will have my own orginal dress pattern!

When it comes to the dress/shirt, I plan on added a few touches to make it really special for my loves:->

Easter is coming just around the corner so what do you plan on creating for the upcoming holiday?  I know that there are several things that HAVE to be done for the kids!

Well I have a lot more knitting/crocheting to do so Be Blessed & Be Inspired!

Dress #2!

Hey readers and how are you doing today?  Today has been such a blessing for us and I'm so excited to discover what God has in store for us.  I'm still in awe of service last night because the presents of the holy spirit was almost overwhelming(in an AWESOME9 WAY) so I'm still  flying high lol.

On a TOTALLY differnt subject after finishing my first baby romper I decided to try o make more baby dresses and sleepers and I wanted to share my second trial with you.  I plan to make several of rompers, dresses and night gowns for a gift set that's due to be finished within the next two months!

Where did I get this pattern?  I found this on Ravelry.com and the best part of using this pattern is the main fact that it's FREE!  Well I have plenty of crocheting and knitting to do, not to mention that I have to start to get myself and the kids ready for our day so I'll be back with more pics later

I wanted to write to you about how awesome this past Sunday was before but  I just didn't know how to write it out on this blog and I still don't but I'm going to try my best so please be patient.

I spent this past Sunday at a new church that my mother-in-law now attends and was blessed by being asked to sing with the praise team for service and oh my goodness not only was worship AWESOME but the message from the reverend was just amazing. Being present at church this past weekend just reconfirmed where I'm supposed to be and where God is leading me. Thank you God!

My "BubbaSour"! And my pattern of the day!

Well hello there once again!  I wanted to share two hats that I finally finished this week AND  I wanted to share another cute pattern of the day because I'm not going to be able to do so later on tonight.

So the first pic I have posted is a pic of a cute hat that I just made for babylove.  I found a really cute pattern for the hat itself and then I went searching online for cute flowers to use.  http://www.crochetpatterncentral.com/directory/flowers.php This first link is the link to  the crochetpatterncentral website with tons and tons of links that will take you to many different flower patterns.  You can also search that site for cute beanies for all sizes.

The second picture I have up is the, what my husband and I call , "BubbaSour" hat.  The pattern is not my own at all.  I found a hat pattern that I liked and then I went online to look for spike patterns and crocheted them up.  Once those two steps were done I then sewed my spikes onto the hat, and I think that I did pretty good for doing so all by myself for the very first time!  It isn't perfect but there is always room to improve:->

NOW!! For the cute pattern of the day!!!
Well being that we are so close to Valentines Day/One of the best days of the year/MY ANNIVERSARY, I wanted to share some pretty cute valentine patterns from here on out till the 14th of this month:->
Here's the pattern of the day that I think to be pretty clever just as long as a REAL box of chocolates come with this delicious looking crochet box of chocolates:->     http://www.redheart.com/free-patterns/crochet-box-chocolates

Well I just wanted to share a few things with you today before the rest of the day took over.

C.U.T.E Pattern of the day!

Well being that I'm crocheting one blanket that needs to be done in less than a week and knitting an afghan for the kids, I haven't had much time to work on hats like I'm usually doing but I did find enough time to finish 1 1/2 hats this week.  BUT the real reason why I'm writing this blog is to share a cute pattern that I found that I think will be super fun to try out:->  I'll try to do this at least once a week so hopefully this will be somewhat helpful to those who are trying to figure out what to try to create for their next project.

http://www.favecrafts.com/Crochet-for-Baby/Sweet-Baby-Poncho-from-Bernat# The link that I'm sharing with you is the link to the toddler poncho pattern that I randomly found today and although I haven't tried it out yet it seems like a fun project to get my hands on so trust me, when I say that I will be using this pattern very soon.  Well I still have laundry, dinner and two blankets to finish on top of keeping up with the kids so Be Blessed & Be Inspired!!

This Knitting Period.

I'm currently on a knitting mission to getting three baby afghans done within a 3 month period.  Yup THREE and I have so much to get done but I fear that with everything that's going on I won't have enough time to make my deadline.  But I HAVE  to get everything done on time because there are people that are counting on me so I'm praying that God will give me the drive that I need to get everything done on time.  There are two books that I'm curretnly working out of right now, "Beginner's Guide Knit Stitches & Easy Projects" and "99 Knit Stitches" and I'm liking both of the books so far.

The main thing that I'm having trouble with, when it comes to putting a knitted afghan together, is getting the number of stitches  done correctly throughout my piece and putting a border around my work without it affecting my pattern.  I recently talked to my aunt about several issues  that I've been having with several projects and she helped out a lot so I'm hoping that, with her much needed advice, I can FINALLY get my first panel done ASAP.  I'll be sure to post pics of my panel soon!

OH!  And before I forget I just want to thank Michaels for the GREAT discounts they gave my mom and I today.  I think I'm going to keep shopping there from now on:->
