Easter Blanket #1 is finally here!

Snuggle Bug's Easter Blanket

Well even though this blanket is a month over due I'm still happy to share the finished product of baby love's Easter gift.  I crochet a very basic granny square and continued the pattern until I got to the length that I wanted the blanket to be.

I'm currently working on Baby Girl's Easter blanket as well I plan to be finished with that one by either late tonight or early tomorrow.  The blanket itself is done but I need to finish adding flowers and fringes and I still need to finish knitting Bubba's blanket which won't be done for another couple of weeks.

When it comes to Snuggle Bug's blanket I still have two more flowers to make and attach but she's been waiting for this blanket for way too long so I'll be sure to make and attach the finishes touches tomorrow once I finish her sisters.  Well I still have a lot of knitting, crocheting and I still need to get cleaning and dinner done so I'll be back later once I have more projects done to share with you.
My question to you is what are you doing these spring days to keep you busy?

Pat and Gina Neely's Momma Daisy's Peach and Blackberry Cobbler

Onto Panel #3

So after starting over on a third panel at least five different times, I finally decided to try to do a diamond panel and so far it's looking great.  I am using all of my patterns so far from the knitting book I shared with you before and I still L.O.V.E it.

I still have a few more panels to make so I'm hoping to get them done in time before we go on our family vacation because I still have several afgans to get done before July.  Hopefully I can make my deadline!  Be Blessed & Be Inspired.

A Yummy Surprise For The Kids!

CAKE CONES!

It all started a couple of weeks ago when I was watching The View while knitting my sons afghan and Tori Spelling came on the show to share her brand new book.  During her segment she shared a pretty easy and yummy craft that could be done for the kiddies called " Cake Cones ".  And after seeing her make them on Tv I automatically that to myself, " Okay you can do this!", so I did and the kids LOVED them.

This recipe can be found in Tori Spellings new book
celebraTori and this link that I'm pasting here will be the link to the clip from the view where Tori expains all.  http://abc.go.com/watch/clip/the-view/SH002253950000/PL55/VD55188731/tori-spelling-on-party-planning/moments//VD55188731/tori-spelling-on-party-planning?cid=abccomsearch_results

Finally Onto Panel #2!

Divided Boxes Panel (#35)

So I recently finished the first panel for my baby's first afgan and I'm now working on the second one.  I'm currently using the book that I purchased a while back called 99 Knit Stitches and decided to use written pattern for an afghan.  But after looking at some of the panels that they wanted me to use, they seemed a little to advanced for me so I decided to do a remix of the pattern that they have written.

My inspiration for this project comes from growing up with my aunt and watching her knit all the blankets she made for her family and friends and decided long ago that this would be something I would want to do for my family.  I'll be sure to share pics as I continue to work on this panel.  Be Blessed & Be Inspired!
